Desert safari transport for guests staying in JBR
Jumeirah Beach Residence, known as JBR, is a beachfront strip of residential towers, hotels and The Walk promenade. Guests here often pair a beach stay with a desert evening, and the afternoon pickup is timed so you can enjoy the morning on the sand and still be ready by early afternoon.
The road alongside JBR gets heavy when beach traffic leaves in the late afternoon, and The Walk itself is closed to vehicles. Pickups therefore happen on the road-facing side of your building or at a nearby point we agree in advance, not on the promenade.
JBR sits next to Dubai Marina and Bluewaters Island, and guests at either can use the matching page. Package choice, dune activities and the return drop-off work the same as everywhere else.

How your JBR pickup works
From booking to getting back to your room, here is what to expect at each stage.
You book and share your location
Send your hotel or building name in JBR, plus a Google Maps pin for apartments and holiday homes.
We confirm the pickup time
You receive your pickup window, meeting point and driver contact on WhatsApp the day before.
Meet the driver at the agreed point
Be ready 10 minutes early. Drivers follow a schedule because other guests are on board.
Drive out to the red dunes
Roughly 60–80 min each way, with a short stop before the dunes where needed.
Safari, camp and dinner
Dune bashing, sunset photos, camel riding and sandboarding, then dinner and shows, depending on your package.
Drop-off back at your hotel
Return times are typically 9:15 – 10:15 PM.
Good to know in JBR
- Meet on the road side. The Walk is pedestrian, so the driver waits on the street side of your tower or hotel.
- Tell us your cluster. JBR clusters have several entrances. Give the tower name, such as Sadaf or Rimal, and which entrance you will use.
- Finish the beach day by 2:00 PM. Leave time to rinse off, change and shake sand out of your shoes before the driver arrives.
- Avoid the beach-exit rush. Traffic along the coast builds as people leave the beach. Being ready on time keeps the route moving.
What to bring
