Downtown Dubai is the most photographed district in the city, and also one of the busiest. Between the Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall, the Dubai Fountain and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, getting a large vehicle to the right door at the right time takes planning. From Downtown the route runs out along Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai–Al Ain corridor to the Lahbab red dunes, one of the most scenic dune areas within reach of the city. Dune bashing, camel riding, sandboarding, a camp dinner and live shows then follow, depending on the package you choose.

How your Downtown pickup works
Here is the sequence from booking to getting back to your room, so you know what to expect at each stage.

Send your hotel or building name, room or unit number if you have it, and a Google Maps pin.

You receive your pickup window, the meeting point and the driver’s contact on WhatsApp.

Meet the driver at the agreed point
Be ready at the lobby or entrance 10 minutes early. Drivers follow a schedule because other guests are on board.

Drive out to the red dunes
Roughly 50 to 70 minutes along Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai–Al Ain corridor, with a short stop before the dunes where needed.

Safari, camp and dinner
Dune bashing, sunset photos, camel riding and sandboarding, then dinner and shows, depending on your package.

Drop-off back in Downtown
Most evening guests are back between about 9:00 and 10:00 PM.
Tips for the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa area
- Use an outdoor meeting point. Safari vehicles cannot wait inside mall car parks or at the hotel valet in peak hours. We will suggest a nearby spot that is easy to find.
- Allow for traffic. Fountain show evenings and weekends can slow the roads around the Boulevard. Being early helps everyone on the route.
- Tell us the exact tower. Downtown has many similar-looking buildings. A map pin avoids a driver waiting at the wrong entrance.
- Plan the rest of your day. Finish sightseeing or shopping before 2:30 PM so you can freshen up before pickup.
